RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2025 Tour Thread *SPOILERS INSIDE*

Did Adrian use the Lado axes extensively again for the show tonight? Seems like he truly enjoys them and hopefully they will be played for the whole tour.

Yesterday it was:

Murders, Wratchild, Killers, Phantom, Aces - Black Lado
Number and Iron Maiden - Destroyer
Clairvoyant, RTTH, Fear - #1 blackguard Jackson AS Prototype
Powerslave, Rime, SSOASS, Trooper and Hallowed - Silverburst Lado
2MTM - 2MTM
Wasted Years - Jackson 2016 green sunburst prototype

Today he played Hallowed on Black Lado, so I assume Trooper, SSOASS were also played with it. It seems to me like he was testing things out yesterday. The only odd choice from yesterday is the silverburst on SSOASS (it is the essential Jackson album).

He seemed to have the most trouble with the silverburst yesterday and I wouldn't be too surprised if it was phased out in favour of the black Lado and 2016 Jackson.

The black Lado is one of the most beautiful Adrian guitars.

BTW, Adrian wrote a new part for the middle bit of Phantom.

I'm a long time fan but no analyst but I heard something different (youtube)and wondered if it was new or just me or if it was higher in the mix. Although it's quite possible that I missed the new bit you speak of and just re-heard something I've been hearing for 35yrs. Anyway, it sounded class.

As I assumed, the Destroyer was in poor condition. But it was brought back to life by the guy who looks after one of the most priceless guitars in the world... Brian May's Red Special, Andrew Guyton. Comissioned by Colin Price (Dave's guitar tech).

BTW, the next post by Andrew will likely be on Lados.

2 years ago today, they kicked off the Future Past Tour and satisfied my deepest longings as a somewhere in time fan. They opened with Caught Somewhere in Time. Man I loved seeing that show in 2024.. I tried to get tix for Europe dates but none were to be found after the set-list reveal. I think last tour's set list edges this one with impressiveness but I will still go see this one for the sake of Killers, Rime, SSOASS and Powerslave. Just happy they are still going and doing it strong. The tour shirts for this one look great. Can't wait for USA dates next year.

France 1998? Blaze was not the only one off, lol

(I'm not sure who plays first and who second, but the fact the second one plays it the same wrong way to mock the first one is just hilarious)

Wonderful post!! What’s Red Special, the one that Brian May made with his dad?

Does anyone else think that Murders sounds a bit weird when Bruce sings it? I don't really know what I don't like. Maybe he's a bit out of tempo because it's fast. If I didn't knew the lyrics, I'd definitely not understand a word.
