RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

More from Nicko's IMFC long interview:

''Over the years and on tour we've done a lot, but I would say one song I've wanted to play live for a long time is Sun And Steel - it's an amazing song, that guitar line that opens it is fantastic. I love the feel of that song.''

Could this be a hint without Nicko playing live now? And the Japanese tower on the poster. I guess it's safe to say they would have played it on a proper SJ tour. It's curious that of all the never played songs, he said exactly it.

Run for your lives "eras" tour setlist:

SSOASS/SIT era
1. Moonchild
2. Infinite Dreams
3. The Evil that Men Do or Clairvoyant
4. Stranger in a Strange Land or any other SIT song

POM/Powerslave era
5. Revelations or Still Life
6. Powerslave
7. Rime of the ancient Mariner
8. The Trooper

90s era
9. Bring your daughter
10. Fear of the Dark

Early Days
11. Killers
12. Phantom of the Opera
13. Sanctuary or Prowler or Running Free
14. Iron Maiden

Encore/ Beast Era
15. The Number of the Beast
16. Hallowed be thy Name
17. Run to the Hills

I made that really fast, but it could work

I don't mean to be rude, but is this really a topic for discussions like: how many times have we seen Iron Maiden?
I just wanted to read the thread, and here are two pages off-topic.
I suppose we can state how many times we heard Maiden perform live a particular song on the speculative RFYL setlist.....

J/K - No worries, Mate. I think I was the one that derailed the thread, my apologies. Many posts are about what songs they don't want to hear and I chimed in that I'm happy with whatever they play including songs that are deemed "overplayed" even though I've seen them X number of times.

What do you think about merch: Will they knock out new shirts (tour shirts) in the official store? The recent 50th anni shirts have been the first shirt updated in ages yet (received the Sanctuary shirt yesterday and sent it back immediately to have it refunded, it unfortunately looks terrible...)
When is a merch update on their site to expect?

Spoiler tag your Maiden shows attended list, mate. My finger cramped up from scrolling down :D :ok:

10 days left. Feels like yesterday the tour was announced. Can't say I have had very high hopes of an exciting setlist, but I have still allowed myself to get massive expectations to the show.

And even if it's a hit parade like never before, it should still be great, so lets go.
My feelings are quite the same. The setlist is always the most important part of a new tour, and of course I expect them to play at least 2 deep cuts (Infinite Dreams, Killers, Only the Good Die Young, Be Quick or Be Dead, Prowler or Murders in The Rue Morgue: anything from these ones would be great). But this time I'm very excited about the show, given what Bruce said in the interviews, and curious (a bit aprehensive, to be honest) about Simon in the drums.

Structuring the set by not doing the ''eras'' in a row and combining two albums could work, now that I think about it, but they won't do it, even just because of some songs positions. Kind of like the LOTB tour idea. You can even add one more song, for the 90's.

I imagine the stage effects for the start of the opener will be noticeable and it could be Be Quick, Trooper, Phantom, Moonchild.

I didn't put a 3rd 90s song because it would have been Be Quick probably and I didn't want to open the set with 90s ( Fear would be very weird as a 2nd or 3rd track). So I gave SSOASS a 3rd song to open the set. ( I didn't want Aces High to open because Rime would be weird as a 3rd song too). So, honestly the eras could work for this tour, but it's highly unlikely they'd go for that.

It looks like this

<ISPOILER> stick your tex here </ISPOILER>

Replace the < and > with square brackets.
That wouldn't help with the scrolling unfortunately.
I'm not sure if putting the dates into a quote might minimize it (with the option of clicking to expanding still being available) or if a spoiler button is more desirable.

The latter is:
<SPOILER="Concerts">Dates, dates and more dates</SPOILER>
With the < and > being placeholders for square brackets.

By clicking on this button I acknowledge that Virtual XI is a masterpiece

Thread is quiet today. Calm before the Storm? Just about a week away. I know the Maiden camp usually doesn't hype up new tours ahead of time but this is the 50th anniversary. Other than some new merch we have a big nothing ahead of the first show.

Thread will hype again if something leaks before 1st show, like alexander recording before future past tour.
