Maiden may charge an arm and a leg to promoters, but even taking this into consideration, long breaks like that during a tour just burn money. You have a big crew that still needs to get paid, among other costs.

Exactly, I can understand 2 - 4 days of resting but 8 - too long. Money to waste on tour isn't the good strategy today!

I would go to both shows. If you have to choose one, the first one will give you a fresher version of Bruce’s voice. Back-to-back shows can be quite hard on his voice these days.

There's no way of knowing in advance, and once you've gone to one gig, there's no way of knowing afterwards if you would have been better off at the other show, unless something goes spectacularly wrong at your show

So just go to the night that suits your circumstances better.

“Which night he’s more likely to perform better at” - It’s Bruce. He’s gonna be great at both shows. The honest truth is I think they’ll all be best in Perth because it’s the first show of the year.
