It appears I really like the singles too. I tried not to pick too many of them.
 
Here is my list, it seems the winner song from each album is one of the longer songs every time. Maybe that is because a long song has more room for variation in musical themes, putting in different riffs and melodies and giving all the members of the band room to express themselves. I really appreciate variation, both within songs and within albums. Say, Aces High is a great song, but Powerslave would not be one of my favourite albums if all the songs had been like Aces High ...
