In the modern era of wrestling, all you have to be is athletic. You don't need to be big or jacked anymore.

It's tough for me to say, admittedly I'd love a classic buildup song like Enter Sandman or The Final Countdown, but as any good wrestling fan knows, those are taken by a shit wrestler and one of the best of all time. Though when Tony Khan shells out for The Final Countdown at a big event it does whip, or when he paid for Seek and Destroy for Sting.

JPEGMAFIA, End Credits!

Public Enemy, Harder Than You Think.

Beastie Boys, Root Down.
I’m not much of a rap fan other than early RunDMC but Root Down is catchy as hell.

I only saw the Beasties once but they did play that song. Interesting aside, their set opened with samples of Tom Sawyer by Rush (my favorite band).

Not surprised they’d use something by Rush. They sampled a lot of rock and metal in their earlier tracks, particularly on Licensed to Ill. Kerry King from Slayer played on No Sleep ‘til Brooklyn

Interestingly, the Beastie Boys started as a sort of punk/hardcore band and played a few shows as such live and on Long Island public access television. By Ill Communication, they were back to playing their own instruments on many of their tracks.
