Your Dream Album

If you were given the resources to put together an album, using whatever musicians you wanted (even resurrect someone), who would you choose? What kind of music would it be?

I would have Steve Harris (of course) and Peter Hook (New Order) do the bass work. I would then have John Petrucci(Dream Theater), and Angus Young (AC/DC) be on guitars. Then someone with the same talent and drumming style as Lars Ulrich as the drummer. Then I would have Bruce Dickenson, James LaBrie(Dream Theater), Robert smith (The Cure), Jim Morrison (The Doors), Hansi Kursh( Blind Guardian),and the woman from Nightwish do the vocals.

The album would be a proggresive rock album with heavy vocals.

I like Iron Maiden the way they are right now [!--emo&:)--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/smile.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'smile.gif\' /][!--endemo--] they are a dream team

I'm truly sorry, but: [!--emo&--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/lol[1].gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'lol[1].gif\' /][!--endemo--]

Otherwise you've put together som prett fine musicians. A bit narrow perhaps (many musicians from the same bands). Throwing in someone like Dimebag would add to the diversity, and give for killer solos, although I'm not sure how well his style would (have) fit with prog.

On the other hand, Dimebag might have trouble getting to the studio these days.

It's too bad he died. He was a great guitarist.

An Album like that arjen guy does, Bringing alot of great musicians and they play on different tracks and such, Only that this album would be fantasy soaked heavy metal, Not prog metal.

Vocals: Ronnie James Dio, Bruce Dickinson, Hansi Kursh & Rob Halford (I don't like him much but he fits in and is a pretty talented vocalist)
Lead & Rythm Guitars: Yngwie J. Malmsteen, Zakk Wylde, Janick Gers, Dave Murray, Adrian Smith, Randy Rhoads & Doug Aldrich
Acoustic Guitars and other stringed folk instruments [!--emo&--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/blush.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'blush.gif\' /][!--endemo--] : Jimmy Page
Bass Guitars: Steve Harris, Cliff Burton & Chris Squier
Drums: Nicko McBrain, John Bonham, Scott Travis & Neil Peart.

Not that it really matters, But the people with the most music (NOT lyrcis) writing credits are Adrian Smith, Doug Aldrich, Steve Harris & Jimmy Page.

Lyrics are Air-Raid, Dio & Hansi.

Bass Guitar... Mark Mendoza of twisted Sister
vocals....... Axl Rose.

Vocals: Freddie Mercury.

As for me, it will be
Vocals: Bruce Dickinson
Guitars: Zakk Wylde and Jimmy Page/Paul Gilbert
Bass: Tony Levin

Normally, my reply would be something like this:

Vocs: Freddie Mercury
Guitars: Jimmy Page, Adrian Smith
Bass: Geezer Butler
Drums: Keith Moon

(You can vary with Tony Iommi, John Bonham, Steve Harris, Bruce Dickinson etc).
Currently, however, I'm kinda dreaming up an album that would be made by different-styled artists, of which I really couldn't mention an existing comparative.

My picks for a Dream Album would be.

Traci Lords on bASS
Ginger Lynn on drums
Jenna Jameson on Guitar
Asia Carrera on Guitar

An Me singing.

I don't know what kind of sound we will have.
But i can't wait to make the videos for the song's
We will have a video for every song.
I beleive we would sell alot of dvd's of the video's because people would buy them just to see me sing.

Vocals: Serj Tankian (SOAD) and Ville Valo (H.I.M)
Bass: 'Arry and Tom Araya (Slayer)
Guitars: H, Davey, Dave Grohl, Tony Iommi
Drums: Dave Lombardo (Slayer) and Vinnie Paul
Random Percussion If Drunk And Ressurected: Dimebag
