The previous round (Dire Straits versus Anthrax) is very tight and remains open for voting here:

In another tight battle, Motorhead beats Tool by just one vote and moves on.

As usual, vote for your favourite. The winner advances, the loser goes home.

In the red corner, from Orlando Florida, weighing in with 4 albums that carry the banner of melodic hard rock and metal for the modern age

In the blue corner, from London England, weighing in with nine albums that took old blues, added a layer of power and mysticism and turned the volume up to 11

Led Zeppelin.
Alter Bridge has one good song. And that song is Ties That Bind.
Led Zeppelin has a lot more good tracks.

Alter Bridge, no doubt AT ALL.

This. Never enjoyed Zeppelin, I find them somewhat overrated. Before people react, I acknowledge they are a good band that is simply not to my taste, but I don't think they're worthy of the mountains of praise they receive, hence "over"rated (I also never understood why using a violin bow was such a big deal ;p)

Alter Bridge on the other hand, I enjoy all the albums. One Day Remains, In Loving Memory, Blackbird, Wayward One, Ghost of Days Gone By, Wonderful Life & Life Must Go On are all tracks I hold in high regard - haven't listened to Fortress quite enough yet.

If Ariana doesn't vote for Alter Bridge it is also a sure sign of the apocalypse.

Uh...Zeppelin, duh.

In 50 years, people will still be mystified by that which is Zeppelin. Those who listen to Alter Bridge? They'll be metal hipsters.

Hey I am doing this for years. :-)
Next time, I'll add more clearly what was my contribution when I quote you. ;)
