Who's song credit will you look forward to hearing most on a possible next album?

all I can say that Lost in a lost world almost gave me nightmares!
No offense, pal, but if you don't like anything Steve does, are you sure you like Iron Maiden? Yes, there are some songs written by him that I don't like too, however, no need to be so harsh-we have to be thankful to him I believe. He is the founder of the band and the creator of the Iron Maiden sound. He has written/co-written more or less 80% of all the songs in the IM catalog. He produces/co-produces the albums. He makes the final decisions on most (if not all) of the IM-related releases and tours. Even if a song is not written by him, do you think it will make it onto the album without his touch or approval? Every Smith /Dickinson song has to sound the way Steve likes, and has to be recorded the way Steve approves, to be included in the album. If you like The Writing on the Wall, Days of Future Past, Moonchild, or 2MTM you can be sure that they sound exactly how Steve wanted them to sound like. Even his bass playing on the song makes a difference.

A kid born when the Futureal single was released is about to turn 30. Speed of Light and Stratego are decently fast, don't think the esteemed gentlemen of our dear Ferric Mistress are capable of higher speeds by now...
If I had to make a guess, the next album will have a song where it starts quiet, then it builds into an epic riff, has an anthemic chorus, and then fades into the same riff from the beginning.

Lemme think how a Dickinson/Harris composition would sound...
Bruce’s voice will dominate this one. Something at the level of his solo song “Man of Sorrows.” The song would start with a piano intro, played by Bruce - delicately, with one or two fingers at most. After that, Steve’s bass would emerge in the background as a constant presence, like the motion of the ocean: slow, majestic and unavoidable.
Then Bruce would go berserk in the high vocal registers, the bass would go completely bonkers and over the top - imagine “Blood on the World’s Hands,” but ×10. At that point it would overpower Bruce’s voice. He would start fighting it vocally for space, but then Steve would unleash the ultimate crescendo of tear-jerking ’80s bedroom synths, and Bruce would ultimately lose that battle.
His cracking voice would emit one last out-of-tune scream - “That’ll do it / Good enough,” according to Steve - and the song would end with no less than a minute of intricate bass outro.
And despite all of the above, it would be a song to remember, my friends...
The song would be called “The Last Duel.” A semi-sequel to “The Duellists,” but this time it would be about a battle of two sheer musical wills and visions.
The Voice against bedroom synths.
The Voice against swirling and clacking bass strings.
The Voice against some level of hearing loss and a very particular set of production skills.
Skills acquired during long and rainy nights at Barnyard Studios and while hanging out with the then-completely-unknown bloke Tony Newton.
A masterpiece was born. Probably. Unavoidably.
The fans will curse. The fans will go mad. The fans will spit (in Blaze’s direction—undeservedly and pitifully). The fans will cry. The fans will ultimately surrender and declare it the best Maiden tune of the reunion years.
And so it is written, and so it will be done. Watch this space for announcements.
