Honestly it has to be Harris, but my personal favourite member is Smith and many of my favourite songs are cowritten by Smith or Dickinson. Overall, Harris is the correct answer.

My favourite has to be Harris/Murrray! Dave has a great sense of melody which, when combined with Steve's writing, creates some of the most soulful compositions.

Smith/Dickinson - More straightforward rockers with bluesy licks.

Harris - Full on epics. Has written some of my favourite songs by the band.

Harris/Smith/Dickinson - Perfect quality control team. Epicness with a hard rocking drive.

Gers/Harris - Unique and slightly unconventional writing style.

Smith/Harris - Great balance between heaviness and melody; mid-range epics.

It's easy for me to say Harris solo (Dickinson solo are also winners), but since it's a songwriting team:

Gers/Harris. For the epicness of the songs.

I have to mention Harris/Smith/Dickinson, quality stuff. We haven't had that combo on the last 2 albums. I also enjoy Smith/Dickinson(ofc), while Smith/Harris brings some interesting and slightly different feel (like Murray/Harris). I like all of them and most songs.

Well said.

Individuals aren't a team. Solo Harris has by far the most classics.

Best team is Smith/Dickinson/Harris, most of the tracks that get the Smith/Dickinson team a high rating are really Smith/Dickinson/Harris tracks.
