Couldnt agree more. I dont understand how a band of Maidens call would ever allow to ruin their trademark in a way Herve did.
I'm glad they changed the artist now for the present tour, and I finally enjoy buying event shirts of Maiden again. Looking forward to receive Budapest and Prague by the end of this month when it's shipping time. :-)

They shouldn't underestimate the power of a strong and competent artist. If I wouldn't have held the Killers LP in my hands, back in 1985 as a 10 year old, being fascinated by the drawing and watched it for HOURS in the store after school, I probably wouldn't have found my way into my all time favourite band. It was really the cover that got me hooked. Later the music of course, when giving the album a first spin.
 
Predator Eddie, no question. There were some crappy ones in the past but that thing isn’t even Eddie, they strayed too far from it.

Special mention to the Where’s Waldo Eddie - the AMOLAD cover. You have to scan it to see the prick!

100% agree. I never really noticed the football pitch until people on here were whinging about it. Like seriously, who the fuck cares? It fits within the theme of the artwork. You don’t hear the same people moan about the football references in the SIT artwork. Probably because they were too busy worshiping at the alter that is Derek Riggs.

And yes, I am in a cranky mood!
