Sorry to disappoint you, but I buy most of my CDs and LPs in the local used record store. The selection is always coincidental, and they're generally very short of Metal (every half a year a Maiden and Priest collection pops up, but it's all gone not even a week later) but if you have enough patience, you will find quite a few gems very cheap ("Silver And Gold" for 4 Euros example). The only thing you have to consider is that if you see a 12" Sanctuary single for 5 Euro, you should buy it immediately, and not wait for the next time you're there [img src=\"style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/sleep.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"

And in general, it's cheaper than buying the stuff new. I still buy new CDs, but I look for cheap used ones first.
I know every single one of my bargains can be found on eBay too, but quite frankly, flipping through record boxes, critically examining a record or simply thinking "hey cool, I've been looking for that for ages" is just much more fun.
Then sometimes come the days when I get to go to Nuremberg, which has much more and much bigger of those used record stores, which is a token of heaven then. Not to mention flea markets and record fairs [img src=\"style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"

Which doesn't mean I don't utilize eBay. When I am specifically looking for a rare item -or even a single-, I check out eBay. The same goes for videos and DVDs.
