This is the only confirmation that I know of that AMOLAD leaked 2 weeks ahead:

As far as TFF, I would think that if it leaked somewhere, it would be available to the public within hours, but then others say that in the above link, that even though it originally leaked 2 weeks ahead, a lot of people didn't know about it until less than a week before so it's hard to say.
I alluded to it in this post
http://forum.maidenfans.com/http://forum.maidenfans.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=255244#p255244 that AMOLAD leaded about 17 days before it's initial release date of August 25th. Khan had a copy of it as well, and mentioned today that he had it two weeks early as well. For some odd reason it took an extra week or so to make it's way from private trackers on to the mainstream sites.

Anyway, is there such a thing as a privileged channel, i.e. a private tracker as quoted by some? How do these work? Is there any possibility TFF may have leaked on those and we mortals don't know it?
Yes they exist, no it has not leaked yet. The private tracker sites are generally well run, and are invite only. The main one that most people want to access looks nothing like what you'd expect, it is one of the most well organized databases you will see, and has pretty much everything you could ever imagine in multiple formats. They are ratio based, and take it seriously, if you can't maintain the required ratio you are banned.
They also use a bounty system where people can donate a portion of their ratio to ask for an album, this is why albums often get leaked first on this and other private tracker sites. For example, on the site I'm referencing TFF is worth 6.25 GB. That means a whole bunch of people have donated a portion of their ratio, and the first person to post a copy of TFF receives that 6.25 towards their ratio. Plus as the initial seeder they will increase their ratio as well. Because of the importance of ratio people continue to always seed, and some people rent or buy "seedboxes" for the sole purpose of seeding. The trick is on sites like this it's tough to build your ratio and takes some time and effort.
The torrents are also personalized to each user when you download them, so if you were to upload that torrent to another site and suddenly there tracker started reporting hits from non authorized uses, they know which member uploaded it and that's an instant ban. In some cases if some one does something deemed really stupid, the person who sent that person an invite gets banned too. Of course there is no issue taking the music you downloaded and creating a new torrent file and then uploading that where ever you want, you just can't use the torrent that is associated with their trackers.
