I think Maiden Madness got the point... Even here there are ppl (usually about as old as my grandma who's 80) that remember the "glorious days of communism" when "Ceasescu built so much, they coudn't even paint all of the buildings". It's not hard to see how kids from poor areas could be impressed by such tales. Somehow, they forgot to tell them how they had to wait in line for food for hours, not even knowing if htey were going to get anything at all, how they feared talking anything about the great communist party, afraid not to be turned in by some "friends"...
