Most MAGAs couldn't define neocon if their lives depended on it.

MAGA is literally a cult of personality based on worshipping Trump. He managed to activate lots of people who weren't interested in politics before now.

Vance has all the charisma and character of an old couch. I really don't see him motivating the Trump cultists to come out and vote.

And we would have senator Oz, senator Herschel Walker, Governor Mastriano, Governor Mark Robinson, etc etc. MAGA candidates besides trump haven’t been able to win in swing states where trump did win.
 
MAGA will collapse immediately when Trump dies. There is no figure with the same cult of personality who could take over. Especially not JD Vance or Trump's sons.
 
I didn’t explain myself well earlier. When I said that MAGA is bigger than Trump, I didn’t mean that the GOP could achieve the same results without him. What I meant is that MAGA exists beyond Trump, it stands on its own and will continue to exist after he’s gone.
I agree that it’s hard for anyone to outperform Trump in future elections, but the MAGA movement, or the “America First” vision, will likely endure long after him. And if it does, it’s only a matter of time before a new, inspiring leader emerges.
 
The people and their beliefs won't vanish the moment Trump dies. That much is obviously true. Most of them will keep voting red, that's a safe bet as well. A good chunk, those who didn't keep up with politics prior to Trump, will likely become apathetic and stop keeping up with politics. Hell, they might even stop voting again.

In other words, MAGA will not disappear, but it will fracture and likely lose influence and power. Thankfully for us, there's no figure to take over once Trump dies. No one will inspire loyalty and support to the necessary degree.

Trumpism (which in the U.S. is synonymous with MAGA) is bigger than Trump, yes, because it transcends US borders and has spawned iterations in countless countries and wannabe autocrats cut from the same cloth are drawing ideological inspiration and using the same tactics. Trumpism has severely stained Europe. It isn't only a personality cult (and the personality cult aspect of Trumpism is worringly border transcending too).

Trump is just a face for these right-wing think tanks and tech companies. He's bought and paid for. Definitely a chance they'll retain the power Trump has gained for them even after he's gone.

Yes exactly, clarifying that it's not about generating bigger numbers, as people suggested to prove it's not. Also what Yax said, which makes it quite huge though I meant it for US only.

MAGA didn't appear out of thin air. There was a huge disappointment among those grass roots "deplorables" being governed for decades by essentially the same party which Steve Bannon formed in an ideology and Trump just rode the wave.
Trump has great instincts and probably some good intentions regarding world peace but he is too weak and unfocused to follow. The result is another neocon government. In my book, his contribution to the world is completed. The best thing he can do is retire and hand over to Vance.

All in all, I'm happy for MAGA and I will be super thrilled to see a popular movement emerging from the left. Popular is the key.

Trump only cares about peace if he can make himself look good.
Just like Trump happily bombed Iran, attacks boats in the Atlantic, or sends ICE to snatch people from the streets to make him look tough.
He is friends with dictators because it makes him look important.
He brags about taking dementia tests because he thinks it makes him look smart.

The ONLY thing that man cares about is himself. How he looks and how he can make himself more money.
It's so obvious that it actually feels ridiculous to have to point it out. Any reasonable person can see it.
