Free Man
Every US president has had numerous attempts at their lives, including Obama and Biden. The difference with Trump is that the attempts at his life came from (former) Trump supporters.
I'm not aware of any.
Netenyahu tried to get Biden to join in and attack Iran. Biden refused. He did the same with the orange buffoon, who went along with it and now here we are. I read some reports earlier today about how utterly unprepared Trump and his goons were for all of this. They didn't even consider that Iran could close/hinder the Strait of Hormuz. They also made it clear that they don't care about regime change. Utter morons who, at best, know war through the lens of a Call of Duty campaign, are fucking up everything. At the same time Israel is invading Lebanon and committing war crimes left and right. And the Pentagon is deploying 5000 marines and three war ships, likely to seize Kharg Island.
Yes, also Netanyahu pressed Obama and Trump I. And I agree that Trump was caught completely unprepared. But it's not about Trump. Someone would do it sooner or later, this is the point. Obama did Syria, Somalia and Libya three out of the 7 Netanyahu wars and oversaw/orchestrated the separation of Sudan and Arab spring. (Netanyahu had famously asked for 7 wars in 7 years (Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Iran). Bush Jr. did Iraq and oversaw the Lebanon war, Biden oversaw the fall of Syria and attacked Houthis and Yemen and our buffoon in chief undone the JCPOA and initiated the crown jewel Iran war.
Therefore, it's misleading to accuse just Trump, every single administration from Bush Jr. fwd has done its part to the chaos we experience today, including Nobel Peace laureated Obama. And in the end all 7 of Netanyahu wars did happen.
And I don't believe for a second that Israel drives US and all that nonsense. Israel, just like Ukraine, Taiwan, South Vietnam, Kurds, etc, is just another proxy, though way more influential than all others combined and a proxy that US wouldn't dispose as easily as other proxies in the past (or now Ukraine and in the future Taiwan). But still it's a proxy. US is mainly responsible for what is happening.
Again, just have a look at Brookings Institute paper Which Path to Persia from 2009.
