United Abominations

In my opinion, United Abominations isn't quite Megadeth's best album but it's by far their most accessible and instantly enjoyable. All of the the songs except You're Dead are solid. The album's a great example of the kind of thrash metal you can't find much of these days. Lyrically it's not as deep as The System Has Failed, but the musicianship is great, kind of reminiscent of Rust in Peace. I'd say it's definitely a worthwhile album, my favorite album this year so far. If you like Rust in Peace and The System has Failed, you'll probably enjoy this one too.

Well I'm sure.

Being a huge Megadeth fan, Almost as big as Maiden. This was the second Album I bought after their Greatest Hits: Back to the start and i thoroughly love every track.

I then bought Peace Sells, Rust In Peace and Killing is My Bussiness, and it was getting better. I then bought Countdown to Extinction and So Far So Good So What!!! and the music was beyong belief.

Youthanasia has been the best album I've bought. Cause of Reckoning Day, Addicted To Chaos and Train Of Consequences.

If your interested in Megadeth personally I would start with :
Greatest Hits : Back To The Start.
Killing Is My Business...and Business Is Good.
United Abominations :)

Oh, come on, you're starting to sound like some of my students.  Certainly you can plagiarize youself.  Authors can plagiarize themselves, so can essayists; why can't musicians?  If they're copying their old sound and claiming it as new, that's plagiarism.  It may not be illegal, but it sure is passing off the old stuff as new.

I realize what you're saying about AC/DC, and I agree with you.  The boys down under have used the same formula over and over again.  It works for them; you may certainly call it plagiarism.  I do not think the same method works for Megadeth.

I called the issue plagiarism instead of copying because, as I stated above, I'm a little disappointed in the musical laziness Dave has swept himself into, and I decided to use a harsher word.

Funny you should speak of AC/DC and plagiarism here. Does anyone else notice the similarities between the opening of Megadeath - Blessed Are The Dead and AC/DC - What's Next To The Moon?
