Well, my friend bought a $35 DoD tour shirt and when we got hom from the concert, the date said 31/02 for Universal Amphitheatre, LA instead of 31/01! Can you believe it?! He was mad!

Tell him not to be mad, maybe it will be a collector's item someday.

I didn't want to buy a shirt, way too expensive.

Excellent discussion on tour regalia. BTW, sweatshirts were flying out of there at $100 a pop. I complained about the pricing, and the guy said,"Hey, that's business." I told him at those prices he wouldn't be getting my business. Now, back to the concert. What was it with that first act, and did you expect more encores?

Cheaper than here in the UK

Well, my friend absolutely loved Archenemy, he says that they play close to perfect music according to music theory. As for the shirt, that's $35 US! He is complaining to the company that made the merchandise, he saw the source in the program he payed $10 for. Anyways, as for the show, it owned. I was front row, right in front of Janick, should have pictures soon. I have put a link of Bruce ranting at the idiot who threw ice at him that night in my signature. That was a scary moment. Plus, I really wanted to hear what Bruce had to say about flight. [!--emo&:(--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/sad.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'sad.gif\' /][!--endemo--] The merchandise is a complete and total rip-off. They also had hooded sweat shirts for $100. In a normal store, that would be considered expensive at $30. I guess it follows supply and demand. A lot of people were buying stuff. [!--emo&--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/huh.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'huh.gif\' /][!--endemo--] Anyways, just seeing the band was enough, plus, I got one of Nicko's wrist bands! Heck, you guys are lucky. My shirt at GMETID was $45. [!--emo&:cussing:--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/cussing[1].gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'cussing[1].gif\' /][!--endemo--]

oy! February 31st? [!--emo&:lmao:--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/lol.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'lol.gif\' /][!--endemo--]
$35 was the cheapest.... if I remember correctly... and no date in the back, like on the BNW tour [!--emo&:(--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/sad.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'sad.gif\' /][!--endemo--]
The soccer jersey was $75 and the hooded sweat-shirt (I think it was a jacket) was $100

Thats horrendus! I can't believe ANYONE would pay that much for a t-shirt that costs £10 to make at the most burt when done in the kind of bulk Maiden get them its about £2 a shirt or something! I know Maiden sold their Merch rights so it's not their fault but someone should make an issue out of this

I would never buy a shirt for that price. I'd rather have a record or something.

Tip: Buy a white t-shirt (very cheap most often), get a black pencil, write Iron Maiden Dance of Death Tour on the front side and all the tour dates on the back side!

That would be a nice t-shirt!! [!--emo&:D--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/biggrin.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'biggrin.gif\' /][!--endemo--]

Here in Sweden the shirts costs 280 kr, about $20-25. so it seems quite cheap.

the DOD tour t-shirt in the UK cost me 20 quid. so, for all our international friends, thats US$36.92, and €29.08. Don't say I never do anything for anyone.

Taffy

I don't like paying huge amounts for clothing. My clothes always seen to end up getting snagged on a fence or get set on fire by accident or something.
