This is not a Survivor. Vote for the best, not the worst.

This is a 64-song knockout tournament. The contestants are the top 4 songs from 16 bands we've covered since the last Champions game. The seeding is based on arcane abuses of statistics gathered from all that voting, but it winds up seeming semi-random. Some matches are unfair; some good songs will have to exit early, and it turns out that Megadeth and Slayer will battle often.

Rounds are 1 day long. This will take about a month.

This is an interesting game though, as the 4 song per band limitation will change things up greatly over if there was a straight up ranking system (but thats impossible and we know it!) at the end people will be going "WTF, how did xyz get into the list over abc which isn;t even there!".

I should mention: a big factor in the seeding was number of voters for each band last season. More high seeds went to popular bands like Zep, AC/DC and Metallica. More low seeds went to bands that only attracted a few regular voters, like Helloween and Blind Guardian. Special care was given to Savatage and Motorhead, who had so few voters that the formula needed adjustment for them.
