I've searched YouTube for a Paiste cymbal manufacturing documentary video and surprise, I found an old video where Nicko McBrain himself tours the Swiss Paiste factory and explains how they make cymbals. He also tries hammering one himself!

What a funny guy, that Nicko. I get the feeling that a lot of those workers didn't understand a word of what he said.
