Top 10 albums since the beginning of the new millennium

Primordial - To the Nameless Dead (2007)
Primordial - To the Nameless Dead
Facts... One of the best metal albums of this century so far.
The System Has Failed - Megadeth
Amazing record among my 5 all time Megadeth favorites that is constantly bashed.
Alice in Chains - Black Gives Way To Blue (2009)
Simply gorgeous(as everything Cantrell composes is) . But we already heard that broken record: "it's bad because Layne's not singing"
TV on the Radio-Return to Cookie Mountain
Good Indie Rock is so hard to find nowdays. These guys achieved it here in a stellar fashion and no one seemed to care.
Neurosis - A Sun That Never Sets
Art... simply art.
Cathedral - Endtyme (One of the heaviest albums of all times!!!)
Put HEAVY on that brother! And an amazing doom record as well.
Bolt Thrower- Those Once Loyal
One of their best albums (if not the best) saved for last.
Sigur Rós - Takk... (2005)
Dreamlike melodies. Surely underrated.

Some people are listing acts like Nickelback and Kendrick Lamar.

Do you really think something from Nickelback or Kendick Lamar or Blossoms or whatever else pop shit you listen to, tops Bruce's Tyranny of Souls?

Tyranny of Souls is a solid album with some great songs on it, but it's not even in the same stratosphere as Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp a Butterfly.

Kendrick Lamar is one of the greatest rappers of all-time, not some rapper. I am sure you have never actually heard his music and are talking out of your behind anyway. Just a lazy "new music in said genre sucks" sentiment without actually doing your due diligence to check anything out. It's a bit of a joke to put him in the same sentence as Nickelback and "pop shit", regardless of whether you like hiphop or not. You'd realize that if you'd actually checked his music out. Go listen to "The Blacker the Berry".

...aaand now we know why the 15 year wait for the ToS successor. Apparently, even Maiden fans prefer some rapper over Bruce's solo records.

I'd take The Chemical Wedding over To Pimp a Butterfly.
