I love Descending. The lyrical themes are massive, and the build is one of Tools best. Invincible is a close 2nd for me. Both songs are in my top ten.
 
See, I find Invincible to be far less exciting than Descending. The song takes too long to build, and while the final few minutes are great, it doesn’t justify the length. Descending, on the other hand, has one of the band’s catchiest choruses and an instrumental section that sounds straight out of a disaster movie. The first few minutes are slow, but it’s worth it.
