Yay, finally a live performance of the song with Maiden's most underrated lyrics.

I am pretty curious about Anneke's contribution on TTAL.

The songs sounds fresh, especially as I have not actually listen to the whole Piece Of Mind album from start to finish for some time now.
Its unique and interesting...Still Live, Revelations, Trooper, Where Eagles Dare, To Tame A Land with the lady's voice.

Anyway I did a write up on this album if anyone interested reading

So was this bump a plug for your blog? Seriously I don't remember seeing this thread the first time.

From what I've heard, I like it.  It's refreshing to see bands do versions of IM classics that are both different, but also grounded in the original.  Too many bands go for carbon copies, or alter it into something unrecognizable.

Not on the release, I caught this killer rendition of Wasted Years, which features the lovely Anneke:

The acoustic version of Number of the Beast by Zwan (featured in the movie Spun) is pretty great. The best part is that Billy Corgan does not sing, just guitar.
