O2 London on the Book of Souls tour felt very special, something extra that night
I was at a few if them and that Earls Court 2006 gig(last night) was special. Davey's 50th and the last performance of AMOLAD. I love the album so was a real treat for me. Last years London show was fantastic too. Great night in the Cart and Horse and the brilliant gig. Just a great weekend all around
Still the best show I've ever been to. The atmosphere was off the scaleParis 99, first gig in Europe of the reunion line up plus arguably the best set list.
I get that, such is life.Yeah, interesting indeed, the longer I think about. I definitely loved every single Maiden show I ever attended yet, also those from the past 20 years, but the older days had some special kind of magic to them, idk.
It was mine for a while in the 90s, so I get that, too.But my opinion is far from being representative anyway, I mean, my favorite Maiden album is No Prayer For The Dying, and I guess I'm pretty much alone with that choice among us all...![]()
This is where we differ. Rarely a month would go by without me attending a gig of some sortAnd 56 times is a lot, true, but on the other hand I'm criminally underdeveloped about other bands live experiences. I'm only interested in Maiden and nothing else... I only go to concerts when it's Maiden.
