Scorpions vs Iced Earth was a tough one for sure. I went with Scorpions because of Klaus but Barlow also slays on that IE track.
In Trance is such a brilliant track it pained me to vote against A Question of Heaven as it is a monster track, but considering In Trance is easily one of my favourite Scorpions songs (And albums) there wasn't a chance to vote against it.

Yea but Stratovarius?
Stratovarius are classic power metal and a better band imo.
If I had put in an actual Stratovarius classic instead of this newer song they would be winning against an early Queensryche filler track.
My Eternal Dream has a classic Strato sound though. Most likely yes, but I wouldn't call Deliverance a filler.

In Trance has some great amazing vocal lines, but Barlow's performance on A Question Of Heaven is everything a fan could ask for from the band and from a metal ballad. The song has a Metallica-esque vibe. No solo in a metal ballad!?

Well, one of the bands started out very slow, the other one has been going slowly for the past 30 years. :D Queensryche were arguably the top band of the genre around the release of Mindcrime and Empire, though.

Well, I hope AC/DC found it thrilling to shoot down Cult of Luna. It's the tarot woman in Rainbow's limelight now. I believe in a thing called System of a Down won the third match. Queensryche has delivered us from an eternal dream. Specifically, my eternal dream, which sucks for me. I had a question of heaven about it, but thankfully Scorpions put me in a trance so I don't care anymore. I'll need Slayer's help to do a postmortem on this whole thing.

Tried to read it with Layne´s voice in my head.
Could´ve voted for AIC but decided to throw @Magnus a bone. And after all it´s a bit of Belgian bias too.

Paradise Lost's True Belief has cool melodies and riffs, but it's not as catchy (plus the melodic vocals ofc) as Priest's Battle Cry and it's stagnant.
The Priest sound and speed from Crossfire's Atomic War is more for me.
Carolina IV is not exactly my thing (although it is happy power metal, but with calm and piano parts), I just love songs that bring atmosphere like Stratovarius' Babylon with every part. For me it's better this time.
Armed And Dangerous is one of Anthrax's best songs (imo), playing is fire, but the riffs of Riff Raff are hard to ignore. It's tough, but I think I'll go with the metal song.
No One Like You is just too classic melodic rock against a Sabaton-esque song. Those melodies and chorus!
MSG's Assault Attack, easy. Solid rocker with a classic chorus and an awesome slow and emotional solo!

First battle is a cry for help for Halford and company because my belief in Paradise Lost is more true.

Alice In Chains found their bones after the Atomic War with Crossfire.

Angra
over Strato, Carolina IV left Babylon.

Enough of the riff raffing with AC/DC, the guys from Anthrax were better armed and far more dangerous.

In a reign of rhapsodian terror there's no one like the Scorpions.

An assault attack of Alice Cooper welcomes Michael Schenker Groups worst nightmare.
