If there are any saints in metal, Quorthon is one, Bill Tsamis of Warlord another one. Since late 80s, I had a huge respect for Warlord, who until early '00s, had only released 12 songs (1983 -1984) and never played in front of fans.
Mark Zonder must be one of the best metal drummers ever and Tsamis one of the most melodic guitarists.
Zonder who was a huge believer of Tsamis' music and Warlord project, joined Fates Warning when the band was over (Tsamis went on to pursue an academic career) and left FW after 15 years, after Warlord was on again.

I just discovered that Warlord released an album in 2024 after Tsamis has died in 2021 and thought the discussion in another place about Iron Maiden without Harris.
Seeing them at Hells Heroes this year, I’m very excited!

Among the Living is a great tune.

Rock Hard Ride Free has a great instrumental and the overall song is fine.

The Mirror slaps.

Moonshield interests me more than Sacred Reich.

The Fun Palace is more metal.

Thorns is more metal, but Deep Purple wrote an actual song.

Among the Living is a banger, very easy against a strong opponent

I dug Warlord but Rock Hard Ride Free is just better

One of my very favourites DT tunes, tough draw for Thundersteel because I love it

Moonshield is just more my thing

I like both of these. The Fun Palace

Knocking At Your Back Door rules, listening to Thorns is often the best part of the day
