The 1st Maiden album You bought

First was Number Of The Beast in 1986, I was going to buy Simply Red's Picture Book but it was not available so I got that instead.
I fell in love instantly until the release of No Prayer for The Dying, worst ever record in Maiden's career and the last one I did ever buy.
I remember I got it from the shop, played it once on the turntable and, completely disappointed, put it away for good.
That was the record that made me sell my 400 plus pieces Maiden record collection.
 
the best of the beast was the first maiden album i picked up...i was in the store with a friend of mine and he suggested i pick it up...hadnt heard any maiden before...i remember vividly sitting at night listening to the album and being BLOWN AWAY!! havet looked back since....the song that really got me hooked...is the evil that men do...its still one of my all time favourite songs. Even though Ive been a Maiden all my life since being a little kid banging my head to my dads copy of NOTB the first Iron Maiden I bought when I started buying cd's was Piece Of Mind.I remember I got it right after 5th grade gradutation back in '99 ( ha such a long time ago ).I made some graduation money and the first thing I did was buy cd's...

First Maiden album was powerslave,but by my own money it was No Prayer for The Dying.
 
First Album I bought was Powerslave. Waaaaay back in 1984. Got it on cassette. Almost soiled myself when I heared Bruce sing Aces High. After I heard Powerslave all the way through I went out right away and bought POM,NOTB and Killers. Been hooked ever since.

Oh defintley man my parents are both metalheads so i was brought up on metal and lots of maiden,queensryche and many other metal bands oh yea and tons and tons of kiss.those were the only bands i listened to when i was little...
 
First Maiden album I bought..hmm...Oh Yeah!*slaps head* It was Rock In Rio!
