Steve Harris

The Malmö gig supposedly flopped. 350 people and about half of them paying. Rest were, one way or another, on the guest list.

I wonder how many people he will draw in Germany. If even I'm not going.

Well, apparently the Swedes didn't give a shit. Then again, I wonder how large the guest list is in other venues.

I just can't understand this lack of interest. Anyway, I'm reassured for the Paris gig : although the sales seem low, they won't cancel the show.

Well, apparently the Swedes didn't give a shit.
And they are known to be among the most enthusiastic Maiden followers.

Sixes, I think I just saw the past tense of "shit" used in a sentence for the first time in my life. Thank you. :D

On a Tuesday night in a small club in Mälmo...Unknown band to many, probably drawing mostly Maiden fans I guess 350 is OK? Not great..but OK. I'm sure as the article says Steve Harris doesn't give two shits though. And if those who went enjoyed it then I wouldn't say it flopped...

Then again: the whole tour would not be good if that's the case. I am curious for more sales figures.

Maybe the album got better reception in other places, or the tickets weren't as overpriced as in other places, or maybe people in Scandinavia had the benefit of watching some live performances filmed elsewhere and then decided not to go. I don't think we can know for sure, honestly.

The Amsterdam and Berlin venues are way bigger. The emptiness would be an appalling sight.
Well, who knows the autograph scoring chance might increase when there are less people around.

They're playing in Gothenburg tonight - We might see a bigger turn out here.

But the tour is over half ways through now and has passed rather silently, haven't heard that much about it. I can't imagine there has been too much money in it..but that's not why they are out there anyways. I hope
