Steve Harris and flats

I don't know the exact answer, but he's been using flatwound strings for a very long time. I'm pretty sure he was using them by the time of Piece Of Mind, at least - maybe even earlier.

Note: I have no evidence for the above, in terms of interviews or such that would confirm it. I'm just going from memory here, and I'm old enough to have a faulty memory from time to time. I think I'm right, but I may be wrong.
