Hi guys, I don't know if this is the right place for this, but do you know if Maiden plans to release something related to Somewhere In Time era in video. I saw some shots in YouTube and they rock!
Thank you.

There are a couple of bootlegs out there... the incomplete but pro shot Somewhere in Philly, and the bootleg but full Caught Somewhere In paris.  You can download both at dimeadozen.org...

As for a Maiden video, they probably have footage from when they shot the SIASL video, so its likely they have some.

As told earlier (even by Steve Harris himself, who regrets this), there are no video-recordings of concerts from this era, because Rod didn't want to spend money on it. There is some footage though (see also the "12 Wasted Years" video-tape), but not something a la "Maiden England" or "Live After Death".

I've seen that Paris boot. I was not impressed. It may be worth a look if you're really desperate, but I didn't think it was very good.

I'd be happy if they could edit together something, even if it's just a couple of songs. The Rainbow and Hammersmith videos aren't complete gigs either (just fractions, really), but they do their job.

They probably don't have a single song recorded.

It's so weird that they don't have any considering by then they were rather popular and the Powerslave tour was very successful. That "saving money" excuse is BS to me...

Actually, the way I remember it, it was just average by Maiden's standards.

It's a trick! The average Maiden show is great, so it was a great tour. :nana:
