Even when I listened to these bands, I never liked the debuts. Heck, I rarely like any given debut all that much. I'd probably go with Sodom, if only for the cool wicked artwork.

Never liked Slayer, never listened to Sodom, Adrian Smith is overrated. Bathory it is. They any good?

Quite on the same note... Not that I don't like them but they managed to do so much better a couple of years later or a bit more.
That being said, Show No Mercy and ESPECIALLY Morbid Tales and Bathory's 1st records were pivotal to define entire genres.
Nevertheless... comparing with Reign In Blood, Agent Orange, Blood Fire Death and Into The Pandemonium I think Morbid Tales is the one that aged better.
