Symphonic Greek titans SepticFlesh unveil a glorious new 360° video
Prepare yourself for the literally head-turning Dante's Inferno, taken from SepticFlesh's forthcoming Codex Omega Opus

Fans of imperious pomp and general heavy metal pummelling have new cause to rejoice, because Greek symphonic death metal titans SepticFlesh are due to return with a new album, Codex Omega, springing forth from the Season Of Mist Records barracks on September 1.

We’re proud to reveal the opening shot across the bow with a special preview of the album’s opening track, Dante’s Inferno, in the form of a literally head-turning 360° video. Complete with sweeping intro, parping horns, a mammoth, striding-down-the-mountain groove and sloshing riffs rising up around the militaristic blasting, this is a track that clearly fancies itself in a three-way death-match with Behemoth and Dimmu Borgir.

So without further ado, prepare to wave your phone or tablet around in an ostentatious arabesque in one hand while holding up the other in a haughty claw and enter the dazzling sensurround that is Dante’s Inferno right here!

Cool song. Titan was one of the best Metal albums of the decade so far, so I'm looking forward to this.

Hope that the other guitarist/vocalist appears on this one, would be lame to have clean vocals from a recording on an official DVD. Also, lame that it's in South America, at least for us Europeans :p

Epic as fuck. Holy shit. That chorus orchestra might be the best orchestral arrangement in all metal.

Very good band for sure. The old stuff is fantastic up to 'The Great Mass' which was an incredible album. I thought the other albums were very disappointing due to the lack of interesting guitar riffs on later albums and replaced by too much boring power chords and way too much orchestration.

Might be the best song with an orchestra in the history of metal. No one in metal comes even close to their orchestral arrangements.

That's pretty awesome. I think the low orchestral mix is due to youtube, it sounds pretty compressed. The performance is great though. Is this a full concert being released?

Edit: Nevermind just saw the last thing you posted. Can't wait!

Orchestral mix is louder on the teaser trailer too. Either way, can't wait for the live album release!
