What's with all those votes for Union (Slopes of St. Benedict)?

I find Union quite underwhelming and unmemorable. Panzerkampf, which admittedly is a grower, may be the heaviest song they've ever done, and Gallipoli is a masterpiece.

A happy sounding song. Sounds like am uptempo song that Within Tempration would do.

I like Unbreakable. Love that Maidenish 2nd half especially. Great melodic solo, riffs and (even!) singing.

Victims of the ambush stains the ground with blood!
Fields of execution murderous plan!
Soldiers turn to madmen in the dead of night!
Fighting with a fury fiery eyes!

I voted for it because I originally found it pretty average, but after listening to it again I love it! That riff in the intro with the strings is amazing! Still, it is overshadowed by the album's really strong tracks (Ghost, title track, Gallipoli, etc.)

Nah, I'd say the heaviest is Wehrmacht. And three votes for Gallipoli, people?! Really?!

I like it too, even with that Sabbath ripoff riff. It really picks up in the second half and gets quite energetic.

Screaming Eagles is pretty heavy, Coat of Arms as an album in general is compared to the previous ones.

These votes confuse me, I mean how many of you have really given these tracks a good listen? Some seem to just be voting for the entire album, I can't believe that they think the entire thing is inferior. Were the tracks really given a good fair listening or just a once over and then dismissed, simply not appreciating them properly.

I gave one fair listening and decided that overwall, the album was a step down from the previous material. But not quite because I also voted for three older songs, and didn't vote for Unbreakable. I still need to decide which other song I dislike the least, but that can be done in a later round.
