I really find Carolus Rex better. The Art of War has lots of bombasm, lots of intermezzo's but when you look through all that, there's not enough strong melodies to be found. As some of you may have deduced, I find it their one but weakest album, right after Metalizer.

I really enjoy Carolus, and tbh of all survivors this has probably been most difficult, but Metalizer was an obvious last and Art of War was an obvious first for me.

As much as a I love Carolus, I gotta give it to Art of War. Both incredible albums, though.
