The poll was tied. The posted votes were tied. So I looked back through posted votes in the previous rounds - and the previous few rounds were also tied! If you go back about a week, Jeffmetal voted against La Villa once - it didn't matter then but decided the tie now.

Tom Sawyer went to the pleasure dome in Xanadu, and a great battle ensued (while the spectators broke their fast on honeydew, before they catch the spirit and the spit).

This is an incredibly difficult choice. While I love Xanadu, I think Tom Sawyer is the quintessential Rush song - and possibly one of the greatest rock songs ever. Xanadu is absolutely brilliant, and is the pinnacle of early Rush. But Rush has spent most of their career trying to make shorter songs, and Tom Sawyer is their greatest success.

(Except for Red Barchetta, which is my favorite Rush song, but you nitwits already killed it off! :p )

My favourite songs are killed off, so I have to choose between these two.

I definitely find Xanada the most spellbinding of the two. It contains various moods, a lot more is going on.

So my final vote in this huge (the longest?) Survivor is:

Tom Sawyer.
