News Run For Your Lives World Tour 2026 Rumours and Speculation

by adding new songs they will sell new merch too. "The best Maiden song" according to -somehow and out of nowhere!- Mr. Dickinson: Infinite Dreams didn't get a proper art design ever.

Again there will be some t-shirts under coverage on the merch stand before the Athens show... and after the show, ta ta: ID and Sea of Madness. One can dream.

I don't think the background art plays such an important role. They played the Aces High Windows screensaver ( I wouldn't really call it a special film). Watching back last year's leg only a few backgrounds were really complementing the song ( Powerslave, Hallowed, Fear and Wasted Years). The Aces High thing was there to distract us from the vocal BDSM happening on stage. Tha Phantom background remains the most underwhelming though ( Number too).
I think the same they can use another screen for the new songs. Apart for some songs it seems to be really basic. I miss the old backdrops and miss a lot the big eddie.

So my housemate said they heard Bruce on Planet Rock yesterday talkin about setlist changes and he said that they know people talk about setlist changes but they don't do it cos they pick the best set and stick with it in order to give people the best show.
The best (and comfortable) set for them, for me the best set for this tour should include Infinite Dreams (we need a proper art for the song!) and a NPFTD song. Anyway, I don't think this comment from Bruce means no changes.
Changing the setlist would be a wise move in the context of the French gig, which is supposed to be filmed and later released as the (potentially) last Iron Maiden DVD.
And they have the Paris 2025 shows recorded from the screens to use footage and stuff, so. Agreed with you about the fresh live release thing, the 1st leg set has only 4 fresh concert songs (Murders, Killers, Phantom, Seventh Son).
I don't think the background art plays such an important role.
The Aces one is probably one of the best for them (along with Rime, Hallowed), definitely the sole reason to play the song again.

Honestly I feel like they were a bit heavy-handed with the tease this time. This is probably the one time not saying anything beforehand would've actually made sense since I don't think anyone was realistically expecting setlist changes for the second leg until Bruce started hinting at it.

I guess it could simply be a case of teasing one song when there's also been other changes, but I don't think there's any other (feasible) song that would come even close to being as surprising.

Simply - it won't be surprising. We're getting ID and something boring. Next switch is going to suffer cause they're bringing back song not played 38 years live - biggest gap between 2 performances in their history.
