News Run For Your Lives World Tour 2026 Rumours and Speculation

I was wondering, since Maiden doesn't always do what they say will do, could they scrap their plan for 2027 break year? Although fully logical and expected for them to have a break year since they're in late 60s, maybe they scrap that plan, but do less shows per year or smth. I just think that if they have 5-10 more years in playing live, should they really sacrifice entire year?

Hello from Istanbul. I bought a ticket for the Athens concert on 23 May in the standing area (PL3) for 100 euros. However, as I couldn’t secure a slot for a visa appointment on that date, I was unable to apply for a visa. I won’t be able to attend the concert. I would like to transfer my ticket securely at the price I paid for it. My confirmed booking is still pending, but they haven’t sent me the ticket yet. However, I’d like to find a buyer before the ticket arrives and transfer it once it does. Is there a legal and straightforward way to do this?

I hope they do take the whole of 2027 off to recharge their batteries and decide how they want to spend the last few years of their career. Good chance for Bruce to properly tour his new album as well.

EDDFEST news: Damian Wilson will be singing with Maiden uniteD for the first time since 2018. The band were never the same without him.

Maiden uniteD EDDFEST line-up:
Vocals - Damian Wilson
Guitar - Dennis Stratton
Guitar - Tom Smith
Hammond - Michiel van den Boer
Bass - Joey Bruers
Drums - Kirk Brandham

I think not. ^Good question. But if they (some of the members) need this year off to continue with the same lineup and write a new album (if they have the desire, but what, playing the same songs with no theme more or less), so be it. It's clear that they're making plans along the way now, and some members want to slow down a bit. Less shows per year is the option (and they have their own solo projects), but the return should be in 2028.

If Steve plays with Blaze, maybe he could join his good friend Dennis too? I doubt it.

One thing we could notice it's how prices is affecting sales for this tour.
There are sections for Athens coming at 80-90€ that haven't sold a ticket in days, while the ones that have the 50€ tickets keep selling out.

It wouldn't surprise me if a bunch of competitions cropped up in the weeks leading up to it. That's what I'm holding out for anyway!

I still have the ticket page saved to my favourites. Waiting for the price drop…

I wouldn’t be surprised if multiple competitions to win tickets are followed by a price drop closer to the date of the gig. It would be too late for me, as I’ll be at a basketball tournament that day.

They won't. If they get to that point they would cancel straight away.
I don’t think they would. Pearl Jam were selling their cheapest tickets for Tottenham in 2024 for £160! They eventually started to reduce them below £100 when they realised that the event was not selling well. Eventually it was cancelled due to sickness. I’m hoping that Maiden drop the prices as well if the event is not selling well.

No way Maiden will drop prices on the official platforms. The might do discounts for a limited time (same with what's happening with Antwerp) but the price will remain the same

It is the first time I have seen them placing a full page ad in The Guardian and I have been reading that newspaper for many years…
They did an interview in the same paper so it's likely the reason there's a tie-in ad. I'd imagine there'll be more of them in the coming weeks as they ramp up publicity for the movie and tour.
