RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2025 Tour Thread *SPOILERS INSIDE*

What are you on about? The Guardian usually fawn all over Maiden. Leave the sneering to the Torygraph.

I imagine his ego was bruised by this part:

"Age is starting to show, too: Dickinson’s famous “air-raid siren” voice is still a thing of range and power, but it is more “car-alarm voice” now."

So you’re one of the wankers buying multiple copies. Hope the extra ones aren’t going on eBay to try and fleece someone.

It seems someone was not able to get the merchandising he wanted!

I ended up buying the tour postergramme. The London game day programme was sold out at the stall I asked, which was probably a good thing as I do not give a shit about football. Otherwise, I would have spent £15 on some Maiden-related tat that I do not really need.

Well I thought last night was excellent performance-wise. I was worried about the sound at the London stadium along with a potential lack of atmosphere (having been for GnR) but that was misplaced. The mix was perfect and crowd was massively up for it. I’d avoided the set list so the 3 Killers songs at the start was a welcome surprise. Strange that nothing from NPFTD featured even though I’m not a big fan of BYD. Would have loved to have swapped Aces for Tailgunner in the encore

We were sat fairly far back (block245) and the impact of the big screen was lost. Some of the pictures from the shows from the floor look stunning.

Also enjoyed having an ‘proper’ support act as well. Thought Halestorm were pretty good.

Only big downside was that queue back to get to Stratford station after the show.

Funny you say that. The sound at the upper tier was fairly mediocre for the first few songs and, although it got better after that, it never reached the quality of previous Maiden shows I have seen with Pooch at the FOH (the least we say about their live sound before he was with Maiden, the better).

I was at the rear standing part, close to the first pylon thing in the middle and it sounded great.

The drums and Steve’s bass sounded way more powerful than I remember from previous shows.

The view wasn’t great though.

Steve’s bass, the drums and vocals were mixed so loud up until The Number of the Beast that it was tricky to hear what each guitar was playing from where we were seated.

I thought the sound was pretty good from where we were which was here. As I said, Guns N Roses in 2017 just sounded kind of distant and tinny there. Maybe, therefore, I was expecting it to sound much worse than it did last night. Best outdoor stadium gig I’ve been to for sound quality.
