The UK event shirt looks a lot like Infinite Dreams/Maiden England.

But it's still quite nice. And it's by Akirant for those who are wondering about that. The UK event shirt looks a lot like Infinite Dreams/Maiden England.

Waiting for the "they redid Infinite Dreams cover and then not play it. Slap in da face" comment...Nice artwork but definitely a reboot.
Same, I somehow forgot just how powerful the Spitefire is, especially now when I've witnessed the giant screen and video. There's just no comparison. Those high notes in the chorus give me goosebumps. Man. I forgot what an insane show that was. Also looking at the stage show, I'm sure glad this was before their idea of the biggest, greatest show meant a giant screen because just look at how cool the whole package is with the lights and the goddamned Spitfire.

At least there's no West Ham references for @GhostofCain
I like it - might buy this one!
Edit: I was bummed Infinite Dreams didn't make the setlist, but I got over it.
I thought that was the recent version and wondered why Bruce sounded great
Good to hear!Bruce sang Aces High down lower this evening in Birmingham, honestly in the room I didn't have a problem with it, he does a good job setting up the crowd to go high and then harmonising with the room. He largely seems better from his cold (thank goodness) but if he sticks with this it's fine, I really didn't mind it at all, and it sounded better than him straining in Budapest. It helped that you could really tell the band, and Bruce in particular, have a lot of fun with that song.
Other than a couple of minor timing fuck ups on Powerslave and 2M2M they sounded way stronger here than in Budapest, and the band is back to doing more funny stuff on stage (especially Janick) which is good. Energy was high, the band seemed in really high spirits, and honestly tonight they had the best sound I've ever heard at any show. Don't know if it's just the arena being good but the sound was super crisp, clear, and well mixed. I could hear the crunch/crispness on solos and really clearly hear distinctly the three separate guitars which is a challenge most of the time to say the least. I was really really impressed with that aspect.
Also Bruce made a joke about people commenting on Simon's kit size online! He's watching you!
Tour programme is available now, and they got sold out very quickly at tonights show.
