Rumor control: Bruce leaving Maiden... Warning

Well, some spanish forum poster said, without quoting any exact source, that Metal Hammer ran an interview of Bruce where he supposedly said that he had a strong argument with Steve over the fact that he spends too much time preparing his own solo album and that it shouldn't be released in the summer 2005 at the exact same time of the forthcoming Maiden tour.

Bruce would have said that he didn't know how all this would end...



Now, I'm reading posts all over the net that Bruce is leaving and Paul (or Blaze for some) is asked to rejoin the band.

I guess we'll have to stick with our claims of Steve doing the drumming on Virtual XI or Blaze singing the first verse of Fear Of The Dark then.
 
I hope all of you are aware of that the Live At Dortmund concert video on the Early Days DVD is actually filmed in a hotel basement in Birmingham starring the sound engineering crew of The Lord of the Rings movies as Iron Maiden, and a playback album tape with pasted audience noise as music, all under the supervision of Napoleon Murphy Brock?

The worst thing is the BB where those stupid 'fans' make such stupid comments about it. What will Maiden think, this won't motivate them much to make more albums.
 
Hmm, I personally like to think that Maiden know how to deal with it, they know that among the people who like their music, there will always be some idiots that spread rumours, either with malicious intentions or simply not bothering to read some stuff. If they do find out and take it seriously, I think they'll deal with it just like with the claims of them being devil worshippers.
 
it pains me to say it, but I don't think maiden will last another line-up change. things are different now - they are older and frankly running out of time. I know they've managed it before, but do you think this current popularity will last if bruce leaves again? I don't think it will. Whether Bruce leaves or not, I shall continue to be a fan of both maiden and the dickinson solo stuff!

It certainly sounds like Blaze on FOTD.
