Reissue/Remasters

Does anybody know if Maiden will ever reissue a remastered version of the Maiden England live album?
Would be awesome as a DVD/CD release but I'd be perfectly happy with just a reissue of the CD

The DVD is forthcoming, most likely next year.

I too would love a CD release as well but am doubtful.

Is there a reason to remaster it, or are you hoping for wider distribution? I am happy with the CD that's out (even if I did have to order it as an import), though I would say it is the rawest sounding live Maiden album. Especially The Prisoner and Moonchild which sound almost sloppy (for Maiden) at times, but the versions of Still Life, Killers, Seventh Son and even Heaven Can Wait (a song I don't like all that much) are quite good.

I fully expect a DVD soon and a tour behind that (similar to Somewhere Back in Time) would be awesome too, as that stage show was brilliant.

Yeah it's purely because I can't seem to find it anywhere so I'm hoping for it to become readily available at some point. But maybe I'm just not looking hard enough?

Managed to find the CD by itself at a second hand record store a few years back, great show, one of my favourite live Maiden albums
Then found the video not long afterwards (Could be the other way round...i'm not sure) at a car boot sale..my god it was awesome, I seriously hope the DVD is out sooner rather than later...still peeved theyy didnt release it in '08 like they promised originally

Yeah and I'm pretty surprised they didn't reissue it in '98 with the rest of their back catalogue. But soon, hopefully.

I can't wait for the DVD release of this.  I know lots of folks got into live Maiden via Live After Death or Rock in Rio, but Maiden England was my introduction to the Maiden show when I first bought it on VHS back in 1991.  I've probably watched that tape a good 200+ times.  It's my favorite live Maiden performance for that reason alone, not to mention the amazing set list.  :rocker:
