I like Futureal as a fun short rocker and quite enjoyed the Clansman live on Legacy so maybe i`m being hard on it after all!!

NPFTD over Killers? And the debut 9 spots above Killers? It's strange.

I love Killers. It's the album that got me into the band. I favor it over the debut though the debut has the best song (Phantom)

Each to their own , that`s the beauty of opinions. I will say hearing the 3 Killers tracks live back to back on this tour was really good, all sounded strong and pacy, even the much maligned Wrathchild.

Piece of Mind was the album that got me in to Maiden.

My opinion is that the debut is better than Killers indeed, but not by a wide margin, it's still the classic from the 80's and still very good. It's hard for me to imagine NPFTD being better than Killers.

It`s not close for me between the first two albums but my list isn`t too scientific to be fair and does change slightly from time to time.

Killers isn`t an 8/10 album to me as it is to you.
