This is a point of rest for those of us who don't read fantasy, I guess.
It's the Ministry of Magic in London, indeed from the Harry Potter series.
Here's another, and one that is quite easy.
Phew! It's a scorcher for you, but for me it's pretty normal. That's what comes of our unique arrangement with the heavens. If you don't like it out on our farm, you can hit up the port. The cantinas there are filled with scum, but you can at least get out of the suns. But whenever you have a drink, remember, it's farmers like me that provide you with that tasty water.

Ah! It's so warm here, underground. At least we're past those accursed gates...I never thought we'd get through them! I think I'll catch my breath behind one of these tombs; the stench from below makes my guide's eyes water! Still, 6 down, 3 to go...and then I'm only a third of the way there!
Might be a bit tough for some, but others will get it like that *clicks fingers*

My goodness, crossing that desert sure was a chore. Now I just need to cross this mountain pass in this funny little land between the north and the desert and I'll have reached my goal! I wonder if the rumours are true about the talking animals...
P.S. Ok, apparently it wasn't as easy as I thought...here is an extra hint: the book in which this land is featured was recently made into a movie.
