Wow really sorry guys, I was getting annoyed about the next thread taking so long to get up, so I clicked on the last one to see who posted first and it was me

Anyway, this song is one of my favourite Queensryche songs, featuring my favourite performance by Geoff Tate. His vocals at the start are just incredible, and he doesn't let up with some amazing higher pitched screams (We are children of the LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGHHHHT). Some simple but very nice riffing in this one, and the lyrics are exquisite and meaningful, some of Queensryches best. I love the "backup" vocals of "Take Hold", great stuff. This song never fails to captivate me on every listen, and its in my top 50 songs of all-time.
10/10.

I was just listening to Warning yesterday! Great album, every song is a gem. I don't usually like slower songs but this one really shows how great of a singer Geoff Tate used to be. The note at 1:11 is perfect. 10/10

Great vocal, good tune. I never followed this band much after their early stuff, so I don't know how far they have fallen. I always admired Tate's ability... 7.

I gave it a spin yesterday too, I guess thats why its still in my head :D
It was by accident actually, I was wanting to listen to a certain song (don't remember, not by QR though) and accidently hit Warning and decided to listen to the whole thing. It's that good of a record!

The best Dio song Queensryche ever did.  ;)
Seriously, it only just now struck me how much influence RJD had on this track, both lyrically and structurally.
That doesn't take away from the eight levels of awesomeness that is this song.
Tate is stunning and Rockenfield is doing all kinds of interesting things this with kit.
Flirting with, but not quite rating a perfect score.
But an easy nine.

I second this. I claim that he sang best on the 'The Warning' album. (9/10)

Very good song, although not one of my favorites when it comes to Queensrÿche. Backing vocals suck, but Tate's vocals are amazing. 8/10.

I pretty much agree with what NP said here, Instead of 8/10, I will give it a 9/10.

The old 'Ryche albums are a bit like the Colosseum, the Pyramids or the Acropolis of Athens- awe-inspiring remnants of a glorious heyday now reduced to a memory. We are left to marvel at the stunning force this band once was. This isn't their best song - it sort of seems to go nowhere in the end - but it's classic Queensryche nevertheless. 7/10.
