Welcome to the first random song thread.
I pick a non-Maiden song, cast my vote,  and get the conversation started.
You guys post your votes (using a similar criteria you used on the Maiden daily song thread) and add your thoughts.
Two days later, the first guy to respond to this thread picks a song he wants to discuss and starts a new thread. If he doesn’t want start the next thread, he can pass that option to the next guy.
Only rule is to pick songs you think a majority of forum users will be familiar with.

Thought we needed something more well known, as we've been diving into some obscure stuff quite a bit in these threads. One of the best Sabbath songs. Features a classic riff, and great lyrics from Dio. 10/10

The best Black Sabbath song, in my opinion. This song sums up everything I feel about religion.

They'll tell you black is really white, the moon is just the sun at night, and when you walk in golden halls, you get to keep the gold that falls..

It's probably my #3. Behind Children of the Sea and War Pigs.

10. It's the first non-Ozzy track I've heard, and definitely the best Black Sabbath song ever.

Best Black Sabbath song - 10/10.
Though I don't like how Iommi always extends his solo live, I'd prefer if he'd play it like on the studio version.

Good song. Not one I'd rate higher than 7. Dio was alright in Sabbath but surely no Ozzy Osbourne.

edit: bad spelling on my part.

I love the Ozzy albums as much as anyone, but Dio is a superior vocalist in every way. Only the best tracks from the Ozzy years even rival this one. A 10 from me, without a doubt.
