Quick SIT show question

Someone fucked the first riff up pretty bad. I think it's H. Maybe because Nicko missed his cue.

I have a few boot vids from this tour. The best is probably Gothenburg. Filmed with the bands permission, it is the full show and is made up of a lot of footage from the front row, with good audio, and some pre gig backstage footage aswell (plus a couple of songs from WASP who supported them).

You can find it here (in the Maiden lossless dvd section)

Hope this helps. ;)

When it comes to crowd filmed footage, I always really liked the Troy show from that tour.  You can see the entire stage, it feels like you're right there live and the performance is pretty awesome.

Does anybody know if the Philadelphia 1987 show from the SIT tour exist in better quality? This is all I can find on youtube:

Also, what is the best live video or audio from SIT tour I can get my hands on? This is my favorite era for maiden & yet it's so hard to find anything in good quality.

Any help would be appreciated.

If it's SIT you're interested look no further than Paris 86. Storming show, this'll get you started. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NrkFVsyGcRc

The video effects are annoying, and the audio is the studio version of CSIT. That's the quality you want?

lol. No I just like the way it was filmed. If a SIT performance was filmed that clearly, without the cheesy effects and the real audio, I would be a very happy man.

The Gestapo blocks this for me, so I assume the link is pointing to the Stranger in a Strange Land video? That one was specially filmed for that clip (not even at a real gig), no concert footage of that quality is known to exist.

No, It's a video of the band playing CSIT with the studio version of the song dubbed over it. The name of the show it appears on is called backstreet.

@ Per: it's not high-quality like the SIASL video. It's slightly better than Paris but still rough. The thing that's interesting: it's from right in front, so great views of Bruce and Dave.

It may even be a clip from something pro-shot, but it was obviously shot on videotape which has since degraded.

There was no rest of the show. There was only that song. IIRC, they played it about 4 times to get footage. It wasn't a concert, it was a video shoot.

Are you 100% sure of that? The vid for SIASL was shot in Sheffield, and if I remember correctly it was made up of real footage (the longshots) and 'video shoot' footage for just the close ups, thougn I can't remember where I read that....it may have been a fanclub mag back in the 80s)

I have the whole audience shot show on dvd, and though I haven't watched it in a long while, I seem to remember seeing the cameramen being visible during that song, and also the song 'Iron Maiden'.
