Question regarding "Revelations" in the studio

The personnel credited for the "Piece of Mind" album. I remember I read the liner notes of that record and it only credited Bruce for vocals. What guitar part did he play on Revelations? Since the song is layered guitars that I believe are laid out by Adrian and Dave.​

I would be fairly certain Bruce didnt actually play it on the album, one or both of Dave and Adrian would have played it in the studio and then overdubbed the harmonies

Could be possible, yeah. Has he ever played any instruments in the studio apart from piano on Empire of the Clouds?

Well, Adrian recorded the entire Piece of Mind album on a black Gibson Melody Maker, probably Bruce recorded the song with Adrian’s Goldtop Les Paul…

Song credits cover lyrics and main melody, that’s it. The rest is considered arrangement.

Then they’re just being kind. Some bands just submit credits for every band member on every song, or they choose to reward people who made major contributions to the arrangement by pretending they cowrote the main melody or whatever, but the legal definition is unchanged. Might be an issue in a bitter legal battle if their actual role was challenged in court.

I don’t know, it is a solo career composition and we know he played the opening keyboard bit himself. I can believe he did all the lyrics & melody, and probably the main riff too.

I dont see him playing that middle part but who knows i dont know how he plays
