Question on Ayreon Album

I was listening to Ayreon's The Human Equation and I was wondering if anybody who has listened to it knows what the end means. [!--emo&:huh:--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/huh.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'huh.gif\' /][!--endemo--] The end kind of pisses me off when it keeps getting faster, giving you the feeling like an adrenaline rush, James LaBrie screamms and then it's over...Does he wake up from his coma?

In case you don't know this guy named Arjen (don't remember his last name) put together music projects called Aryon. The latest album is called The Human Equation. It is a 2 hour progressive metal/rock concept album about a man who falls into a coma and his emotions try to bring him back by giving him memories of his past. James LaBrie ,of Dream Theater, plays the main character and 8 other very talented vocalists, including Arjen, play as his emotions and his friend and wife. It is an excellent album. If you like Metal or Progressive Ro- hell, if you like music in general, you should check it out.

If you want the clue, you'll have to listen to two other Ayreon CDs :
* Universal migrator part I : [a href=\'http://www.ayreon.com/discography/album.php?album_id=4#story\' target=\'_blank\']the dream sequencer[/a]
* Universal migrator part II : [a href=\'http://www.ayreon.com/discography/album.php?album_id=5#story\' target=\'_blank\']flight of the migrator[/a]

These two albums tells a story of the last man on Planet Mars : at that time there will be no more life on Earth.

This last man of Mars lies down in a machine called the "dream sequencer" that can bring him back through time. The program which runs the machine is called the "Universal migrator".

On the first album the hero lives different periods on mankind :
* his life on mars
* the first man on the moon
* ...
* the first man on Earth

The second album tells the story of the universe and the hero will travel across quasars, black holes, and will be the first soul of the universe.

At the end of the human equation you'll hear :
[!--QuoteBegin--][div class=\'quotetop\']QUOTE[/div][div class=\'quotemain\'][!--QuoteEBegin--]The Human Equation program aborted.
Have a nice day.
Dream Sequencer system offline.

Emotions
I remember?[/quote]

That's the dream sequencer program that has failed.

So ME the hero in the "human equation" isn't real, he is the last man on Mars trying the Emotions program

Notice that Bruce Dickinson is singing on flight of the migrator (song : into te black hole)
