Point Depot 20/12/06 = Worst concert ever!!

That concert was undoubtedly the worst concert i've ever seen! Iron Maiden suck! How dare they play their new (rubbish) album in full! (Can you imagine if Elvis came back from the dead and pretty much just played some of the new material he wrote while he was away?)

3/4 old songs?!? WTF! They didn't even play them right - did you hear Hallowed..? Nicko has turned into such a bad drummer. I can't even bare to listen to the new album, let alone witness the sellout action. All the songs have the same predictable, but not in a good way, structure, and they'll all played at a pace which is uncomfortable, to say the least. What's the point in having 3 guitarists if you rarely take advantage of it. They think that just cause they're Iron Maiden they can write an album without doing much work. I like Dance of Death, it had some good songs, but this, this isn't Iron Maiden.

When I go to an Iron Maiden concert i want to hear some Iron Maiden songs! I suppose they can afford to dishonour their fans cos they have so many, well not as much now!

I will be selling all my Iron Maiden albums, preaching their disloyalty to their fans, and never listening to them again. You can be sure that i will never go to another of their concerts!

Do you have any rare ones? Any CD albums that are not 1998 reissues? Or any vinyl in good condition? Get in touch with me if you have. Cheers.

I second that.  If you have Eddie's Archive (particularly Beast Over Hammersmith, I'll be very interested in purchasing it).  Otherwise, good riddance.  Why don'y you go and see Maiden England or another tribute act if you want to see a greatest hits setlist time after time?
 
Look, the guy did not like the Maiden show, it's his take on it. So, let the baby have his rattle and let off a bit of surplus energy (this does not detract from the fact that he has made a bit of an arse of himself - and may never respond on here again). It's also a bit of an extreme measure to take on the basis of just one show (which every one else seemed to enjoy who posted here).

But magic man, if you have "Soundhouse Tapes", that's all I need - I have the rest. :D

The set-list of the show is known for several months...What did this bloke think about ??? Some extra set-list for the Earls Court shows, full of classics???

Albie, for the record, the performance of the five classic songs (proves how much he cared about the show...) was one of the best I've ever seen.  Fear of the Dark was flawless, the intro to The Evil That Men Do was perfectly tempered, and Hallowed Be Thy Name was without faults, except for Janick's usual butchering of the solos (which was entertaining, at least).  The one technical fault was Nicko fucking up in Iron Maiden (he went into the chorus too early), but if this user thinks that was a crap gig from a technical standpoint, he must have bloody high standards.

This is just someone trolling, and many of you have responded eagerly to the call.  If you're interested in the bloke's albums, PM him.
