How good is Out of the Silent Planet on a scale of 1-10?

This song is great, but for me the melodic section by the end is what sells it out to me as a great song. If the guys choose to extend this section throughout the song maybe I could give it a 10, but as it stands I will go with an 8/10.
Another amazing song on an amazing album.

Maiden did some great albums in the last 20 years, but Brave New World still is my favorite, even break in the mix with the 80’s album imo.
 
The song with Janick's longest solo?

His other long solos I can think of are in: ''The Assassin'', ''Weekend Warrior'', ''The Aftermath'', ''Blood Brothers'', ''Dance Of Death'' and ''The Parchment''.
 
Can someone give me a valid reason why this song was played live only 4 times?
Great live song with singalong chorus and melodies (better than ''The Fallen Angel'' in that regard) and it's a single -> the only single of Maiden (if we exclude ''Empire Of The Clouds'') not played regularly on its album tour! It's really strange.

And of course the only live video footage of it from 2001 has sound problems...

I wonder why the awesome intro was omitted? Maybe because it was the last song in the set - a curious fact!
