Opinions on Poison

Hi,

I thought that Poison were just another run of the mill Hair Metal band until I checked out heir "Greatest Hits" CD. I found that they actually had some pretty good songs. Now I know that probobaly most of you will think I've lost the plot but if you are a fan of Van Halen (even tho they are miles better than Poison) then I don't see why you can't like Poison.

Opinions Please!

I don't like Van Halen nor do I like Poison. Of the few glam metal bands I really do like, Poison is definitely not one of them.

80's hair metal rocks big time. Great for parties etc. "Crazy Nights" by Kiss is a good example (and yes, Kiss is more than makeup and tongues, actually they didn't wear makeup from '81-'92). Poison made a fair deal of hits but also a bunch of flops.
Still, there were better and more interesting music around in the 80's (y'all know very well what I'm talking about [!--emo&--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/wink.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'wink.gif\' /][!--endemo--] )
